Understanding VAT with Printseekers

There is a saying that goes, "two things in life are inevitable - death and taxes." But is it really true in print-on-demand dropshipping? Questions about taxes are very common, so we want to help! In this guide, we will explain how VAT (Value Added Tax) works when you partner up with Printseekers.

VAT can be 0% or 21%, depending on three factors:

  1. Where you are from.
  2. Whether you are a VAT payer.
  3. Where the product is shipped to.

Some orders will have VAT attached, while others won't. You don't need to calculate anything; our system does this automatically.

Factors Affecting VAT:

  1. Your Location:
    • Are you based in the European Union (EU) or outside?
  2. VAT Payer Status (EU Only):
    • In the EU, you can register your business to be a VAT payer, which can be beneficial for multiple reasons.
  3. Recipient Country:
    • Is the package's final destination within the EU or outside?

VAT Scenarios:

Match your situation with one of the options below for the applicable VAT rate:

  1. You are in the EU, not a VAT payer, package sent to the EU: 21%
  2. You are in the EU, not a VAT payer, package sent outside the EU: 0%
  3. You are in the EU, a VAT payer, package sent to the EU: 0%
  4. You are in the EU, a VAT payer, package sent outside the EU: 0%
  5. You are not in the EU, package sent to the EU: 21%
  6. You are not in the EU, package sent outside the EU: 0%

Note: This guide covers only business between you and Printseekers. How much you charge your customers, how you pay taxes to your country, whether you apply for VAT payer status, and other tax-related questions are up to you. Setting Up Your Payment Method

To ensure seamless transactions, follow these steps to set up your credit or debit card on Printseekers:

Step 1: Log into Your Printseekers Account

  1. Access the Login Page: Open your web browser and navigate to the Printseekers login page.
  2. Enter Your Credentials: Log in using Facebook, or Google, or input your email address and password, then click "Log In."

Step 2: Navigate to Billing Settings

  1. Go to Settings: On the left-hand side menu, click on "Settings."
  2. Select Billing: In the Settings menu, choose "Billing."

Step 3: Add a Credit/Debit Card

  1. Click on Add a Credit/Debit Card: Find and click the "Add a credit/debit card" button.

Step 4: Enter Card Information

  1. Provide Card Details: Enter your credit or debit card information. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, China UnionPay, Discover & Diners Club, eftpos Australia, and Japan Credit Bureau (JCB).
  2. Billing Address: Ensure that you have filled in your billing address. You can do this in "Settings" under "My Account."

Unless agreed otherwise, you will be charged upon sending an order to production.
